Accessibility Statement
At PinkTag, we want everyone to be able to shop with us, browse our collections, and find the perfect gift, whatever their abilities and however they use the web. We're a small, mommy-owned boutique in Prospect, Kentucky, and we take that commitment seriously. We are always working to make PinkTag.com easier to use for all of our customers.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the internationally recognized standards for making websites usable by people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive, or learning disabilities. We also aim to follow the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in how we serve customers online and in our store.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review our site and fix problems as we find them.
What we're doing
Some of the ways we're working to make PinkTag.com more accessible:
- Regular accessibility reviews. We test our site with automated tools and by hand, including navigating with only a keyboard, and we track and fix the issues we find.
- Text alternatives for images. We add descriptive alternative text to meaningful images, such as promotional banners and photos, so screen reader users get the same information.
- Readable color contrast. We check that text, including prices and stock messages, has enough contrast against its background to be easy to read.
- Keyboard access. We work to make menus, product options, buttons, and forms usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link.
- Clear labels. We give buttons, links, and form fields names that screen readers can announce, such as "Zoom image," "Wishlist," and "Subscribe."
- Control over motion. Our homepage slideshow has a pause button. If your device is set to reduce motion, the slideshow won't advance on its own.
- Page structure. We use headings, landmarks, and lists so assistive technology can move through our pages easily.
- Zoom and mobile support. You can zoom our pages, and they're built to work on phones and tablets as well as computers.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of our site may not yet be fully accessible. We're aware of the following and are working on them:
- Third-party features. Some features, such as product filtering and search, our wishlist, rewards, reviews, live chat, and email sign-up pop-ups, are provided by outside companies. We can't always control how accessible these are, but we raise issues with those providers and look for accessible options.
- Checkout. Checkout is provided by Shopify. Shopify publishes its own accessibility commitment for its checkout.
- Older content. Some older product photos, blog posts, and pages may be missing descriptive text. We're updating them over time.
If something you need isn't working for you, please tell us, and we'll help you another way.

Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of PinkTag.com. If you run into a barrier, or have a suggestion, please email hello@pinktag.com with the subject line "Website Accessibility Feedback," or call us at 502-677-1389. It helps us if you include:
- the web address (URL) of the page,
- a short description of the problem, and
- the device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using (for example, iPhone with VoiceOver, or Windows with NVDA).
We'll get back to you as quickly as we can and work with you to fix the problem, or find another way to get you what you need.
Continuous improvement
As a small business, we may not have the resources of a large corporation, but we're committed to making our site as welcoming and inclusive as our boutique. We'll keep reviewing PinkTag.com as we add new products, pages, and features, and we'll update this statement as we make progress.
Thank you for helping us improve.
With love,
The PinkTag Team
